Class 10, Assignment 1: Synthetic Humans, Moore’s Law and GPUs

The lecture taught us that even though the graphics in Cloud Party may be impressive, it is still considered rather cartoony. The reason for this is that it has to have mass appeal. Graphics could be bumped up, but a lot of modern computers do not possess the graphical processing to sustain high level graphics. This is why it has to be scaled down until processing power catches up and it will due to Moore's Law, which states that chip performance doubles every eighteen months. Soon users will be ale to render cinematic quality graphics in real time. This will soon be the new standard.
